I am so late posting today.  I have had a string of headaches lately.  We have had more rain than usual (for Arizona) and it’s taken it’s toll on me!  I guess that’s why the Lord hasn’t sent me back to Oregon.

I thought I would share a quote that I have had for sometime.  Unfortunately I do not now the origin of it.  I believe I got this as an email.  Of course, some of you may not be in a traditional work setting, but I think many things that we do (like PTA, coach, volunteer work, etc) can take up lots of time and sometimes be rewarding and beneficial to the family and sometimes not.

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days?  But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.  And come to think of it, we poor ourselves more into work than our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don’t you think?  So what is behind the story?  Do you know what the word FAMILY means?  FAMILY = (F)ather (A)nd (M)other (I) (L)ove (Y)ou!
